Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to every offer, order and agreement between Tappy and its customers. Please read them carefully before placing an order. Last updated: August 2026.

Article 1. Definitions

  • Tappy: the company Tappy, established at Boekelose Stoomblekerij 101, 7548 EE Enschede, the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce (KvK) 68095414, VAT number NL002322858B82.
  • Customer: any natural person or legal entity that places an order or enters into an agreement with Tappy.
  • Consumer: a customer acting for purposes outside their trade, business or profession.
  • Products: the physical Tappy NFC products that take a guest to a review page or a feedback screen with a single tap.
  • Website: https://tappy.one and all of its pages.
  • Agreement: the distance contract between Tappy and the customer regarding the delivery of products or services.

Article 2. Applicability

These terms apply to every offer made by Tappy, every request submitted through the contact or order form, and every distance agreement between Tappy and the customer.

Deviations are only valid once confirmed by Tappy in writing or by email. Any general or purchasing conditions of the customer are expressly rejected.

Tappy may amend these terms. The version published on the website at the time of ordering always applies to that order.

If any provision is void or annulled, the remaining provisions remain in full force and the parties will replace it with a provision that matches its intent as closely as possible.

Article 3. Products & Services

Tappy supplies premium NFC review products that let businesses guide their customers to a review platform of choice with a single tap, such as Google, Trustpilot, Facebook or Tripadvisor.

Images, colours and descriptions on the website are as accurate as possible. Minor differences in colour, finish or dimensions do not give rise to cancellation or compensation.

Tappy is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or part of the review platforms mentioned. Those platforms set their own conditions and may change their policies, display or functionality at any time.

Tappy does not guarantee a specific number of reviews, a specific rating or any particular business result.

Article 4. Prices

  • All prices are in euros and include Dutch VAT, unless expressly stated otherwise.
  • Any shipping costs are shown separately before the order is completed.
  • Prices may change; a confirmed order is never adjusted retroactively.
  • Obvious clerical, printing or pricing errors are not binding on Tappy.

For deliveries within the EU to a business customer with a valid VAT identification number, VAT may be reverse-charged. Please provide the VAT number with your request.

Article 5. Payments

Payment is made through the payment methods offered at checkout or by invoice with a payment term of fourteen (14) days.

Tappy processes payments through secure payment service providers and does not store full payment details itself.

When paying by invoice, production or shipping starts only after payment has been received, unless agreed otherwise in writing.

If payment is not received within the payment term, the customer is in default by operation of law. Tappy may then charge statutory interest and reasonable collection costs in accordance with Dutch law.

Article 6. Order Confirmation

The agreement is concluded the moment Tappy confirms the order by email.

The customer receives a confirmation stating the products, the price, the delivery details and these terms and conditions on a durable medium.

If anything in the confirmation is incorrect, please report it within 24 hours to info@tappy.one so we can still amend the order.

Tappy may refuse an order or request additional information, for example in case of suspected misuse or incomplete details.

Article 7. Delivery

Tappy delivers to the address provided by the customer at the time of ordering. The customer is responsible for the accuracy of that address.

Stated delivery times are indicative and are not strict deadlines. For consumer purchases, Tappy delivers within thirty (30) days at the latest, unless agreed otherwise.

If delivery within that period is not possible, Tappy informs the customer and the consumer may cancel the agreement free of charge. Amounts already paid are refunded within fourteen (14) days.

The risk of damage or loss passes to a consumer upon actual delivery, and to a business customer upon handover to the carrier.

Article 8. Shipping

Our Shipping Policy applies to all shipments. It sets out the countries we ship to, shipping costs, processing and delivery times, and Track & Trace information.

The Shipping Policy forms an integral part of these terms and conditions and can be found on the Shipping page of this website.

Article 9. Returns & Right of Withdrawal

Our Return Policy applies to all returns. It describes the return period, the conditions, the return costs and the refund method.

In addition, consumers have the statutory right to withdraw from the agreement within fourteen (14) days of receipt without giving reasons. This statutory right always applies in full alongside our more generous return period.

To withdraw, send a clear statement to info@tappy.one. After notifying us, the customer has another fourteen (14) days to return the product.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to products made to the customer's specifications or that are clearly personalised, such as custom printed or programmed products.

Article 10. Warranty

Tappy warrants that its products conform to the agreement, to the specifications stated on the website and to statutory requirements. This is the legal conformity guarantee under Dutch and European law.

If the customer discovers a defect, they must report it within a reasonable period after discovery to info@tappy.one, stating the order number and, where possible, photos.

In the case of a valid warranty claim, Tappy repairs or replaces the product free of charge. If that is not possible, the customer receives an appropriate price reduction or a full refund.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use, deliberate damage, modification of the product, exposure to extreme heat or moisture, or normal wear such as of the adhesive layer.

Article 11. Product Usage

Tappy's NFC products work with NFC-compatible smartphones. The customer is responsible for the settings and compatibility of the device used.

The customer decides which destination the product links to and may change that destination. The customer is responsible for the content, lawfulness and availability of that destination.

The customer will not use Tappy to buy, force, filter or otherwise manipulate reviews in a way that violates the terms of the relevant review platform or applicable law.

Tappy is not liable for reviews being removed, blocked or not displayed by an external platform.

Article 12. Custom & Personalised Products

If the customer supplies a logo, text, colour scheme or other content for customisation, the customer warrants that they hold the required rights and indemnifies Tappy against third-party claims.

The customer reviews and approves the digital proof before production. After approval, errors in the supplied content are at the customer's expense.

Custom and personalised products are excluded from the right of withdrawal and cannot be returned, unless the product has a demonstrable defect.

Custom orders enter production only after full payment and cannot be cancelled free of charge once production has started.

Article 13. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Tappy brand name, logo, product design, website, texts, photos, videos and software belong to Tappy or its licensors.

The customer only obtains the right to use the delivered products for their own business. Nothing in these terms transfers any intellectual property rights.

Copying, reproducing, reverse engineering, modifying or commercially distributing Tappy products or content without prior written consent is not permitted.

Article 14. Limitation of Liability

Tappy's liability is limited to direct damage and to a maximum of the amount paid for the relevant order.

Tappy is never liable for indirect damage, including consequential loss, lost revenue or profit, reputational damage, missed reviews or loss of data.

Tappy is not liable for disruptions, changes or discontinuation of third-party services such as review platforms, payment providers or carriers.

These limitations do not apply in the event of intent or wilful recklessness by Tappy and do not affect the mandatory statutory rights of consumers.

Article 15. Force Majeure

Tappy is not obliged to fulfil an obligation if it is prevented from doing so by force majeure, including power or internet failures, cyber attacks, fire, extreme weather, war, government measures, epidemics, transport disruptions and failures by suppliers.

Obligations are suspended during force majeure. If it lasts longer than thirty (30) days, either party may terminate the agreement in writing without any compensation being due.

Amounts already paid for products not delivered are refunded within fourteen (14) days in that case.

Article 16. Privacy

Tappy processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Which data we process and why is described in our Privacy Policy.

Data is used solely to perform the agreement, provide customer service and meet statutory administrative obligations, and is never sold to third parties.

Customers can request access to, correction of, or deletion of their data via info@tappy.one.

Article 17. Complaints

Complaints about a product, a delivery or our service can be sent to info@tappy.one, stating the order number and a clear description.

Tappy acknowledges the complaint within two (2) working days and aims to resolve it within fourteen (14) days. If more time is needed, Tappy will inform the customer.

If we cannot reach a solution together, consumers in the EU may also submit the dispute through the European ODR platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Article 18. Governing Law

All offers, orders and agreements with Tappy are governed exclusively by Dutch law. The Vienna Sales Convention (CISG) is excluded.

Disputes are submitted to the competent court in the district of Overijssel, the Netherlands, unless mandatory law designates another court. Consumers may always choose the court designated by law.
